Lesson Schedule:

Monday-Wednesday 3pm-9.30pm

Thursdays 10am-8pm

Fridays 3pm-7pm

Saturdays/Sundays 10am-5pm

Tom has been teaching with us since lessons first began here at the studio in late 2012. He's taught hundreds of students in that time, and has spent numerous hours developing his teaching space in to a warm, relaxing and welcoming environment for everyone, from beginners to professionals.

He has a BA in Music Performance and a Masters in Creative Practice, and is also studying a course in Music Therapy as well as aspirations to study in Sound Therapy. Drums and percussion lessons don't just involve learning styles with Tom; you will also learn how to develop your own style, understand the language of rhythm, and build the confidence to speak that language in whatever styles you enjoy.

Tom has worked on tours and festivals as a performer and a drum tech, acted as ambassador for Hull College of performing arts at the Stax Music Academy where he got to tutor and advise along side Soul legends such as Kirk Whalum, and whilst there recorded in the legendary Sun studios that launched the Million Dollar Quartet.

Tom's teaching style is approachable, friendly, encouraging and patient, guiding students towards their goals and beyond with constant support.
